Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept payment by major credit cards (via WorldPay). You may also pay by cheque or postal order. We require three working days from the date of receipt to clear a cheque. Your order will then be despatched.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Please be aware that although every effort has been made to try to accurately reproduce colours, your monitor / PC may not be able to exactly reproduce the range of colours that we display on our site.

When ordering yarn, please order enough to complete your garment or item that you are knitting. This is because we cannot guarantee that future orders will come from the same dye batch. This could mean that there is some colour variation between orders.

Shipping And Handling We have endeavoured to keep shipping costs as low as possible. The system calculates the total weight of your order then assigns a cost based on Royal Mail First Class post plus packing. The cost of your shipping will be displayed as you start the checkout process.

Delivery Schedule We will normally dispatch your order in 3 business days. Some items may take longer and in this instance you will be e-mailed with the approximate shipping date and be given the opportunity to cancel your order if the delivery time is unacceptable.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If you choose to cancel your order, your credit card will be refunded immediately.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, you will be transferred to WorldPay's secure server system to complete your purchase. We do not, at any time, have any access to your credit card details. WorldPay's servers use industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption. You can verify this by clicking the 'Golden Padlock' displayed within your browser window whilst you are within WorldPay's system.

Privacy Policy Love2knit do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment (i.e. data sent to WorldPay as part of the credit card transaction). In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully and keep it secure - in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

The information we collect is that provided by you during the order process. This information includes: your name, address, telephone number, e mail address. This information is SOLELY used to process your order in an efficient manner.

Neither your e-mail address nor any information as provided in the order process will be used by us for marketing purposes or be disclosed to any third party.

Your e-mail address is only used to send an automated receipt of your order, a notification of your order despatch and to communicate with you regarding your order (out of stock information for example)

The information supplied by you during the order process is deleted from our systems once your order is completed.

Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Optionally a cookie can be used to store your contact details on your computer to simplify subsequent orders (your personal details are automatically inserted into our order form). We do NOT use cookies to track your Internet movements (referral tracking).

Returns Policy The Direct Selling Regulations (DSR) 2000 cover purchases made where there is no direct contact between vendor and consumer. It does not apply to items bought for business, fairs, exhibitions or showroom use.

Under these regulations you can cancel your order from the moment your order is received until seven working days after the goods are received. You do not need to give a reason for cancellation or return - just e-mail quoting your order number and your wish to cancel/return in accordance with the DSR 2000. There is no charge for this provided your order has not been despatched.

Once the goods have been sent you will need to arrange and pay for the return delivery. We suggest insuring the goods against loss or damage. The goods must be un-used and be received in a re-saleable condition including all accessories, packaging etc. In the case of our patterns, these are sent in a sealed plastic wrapping. This wrapping constitutes original packaging and damage to this will invalidate its return.

A refund of all monies including the initial postage and packing charges will be made upon receipt of the returned goods and within 30 days of cancellation. However, if the goods are not returned at your cost, we will arrange for a courier to collect them. The cost of this collection will be deducted from your refund
